Defaults applied to MiVoice Business
(Mitel Integrated Configuration Wizard)

The Configuration Wizard uses .CSV files to program the MiVoice Business system. The files contain data generated by the wizard along with factory-set defaults. At configuration time, the CSV files are loaded into memory and filled with data. (The data is never saved to the files on disk.) The files are then transferred to the MiVoice Business system and imported into the forms shown in the table below.

You can use a text editor or spreadsheet application to inspect the files which are located on the MiCW installation path. The default path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Mitel\Mitel Integrated Configuration Wizard\5.1\defaultCSV.

IMPORTANT: Editing the CSV files is NOT recommended as mistakes in the data can cause your configuration to fail. Always use the wizard or the administration tools for MiVoice Business or MiCollab to create or modify your configurations. The tools check your data for errors to help guard against failure.

For defaults applied to MiCollab, see Configuring Service Resources and Options.

For other voice mail-related defaults, see Configuring Voice Mail Users.
